more sewing. hurray. my mother-in-law came to visit for her birthday. we cooked a yummy steak and shrimp dinner and enjoyed chocolate cake for dessert. it was a nice small celebration at home.
mason helped me make these cute lemon themed gifts for her. we sewed a rice warming bag scented with some lemon essential oil and a cute yellow apron to match. mason mixed the essential oil into the rice and helped me fill the bag. he was so excited to give her the gift that he blurted out "we made you a healing bag grammy", right when she walked in the door. so cute. it was a fun celebration and we were happy to share her birthday with her.

That's really great fabric! Where did you find it?
it is by the designer alexander henry. you can find it online, but i happened to get it from joanns. they don't usually carry much of his fabric but they had this one. so cute!
