kira at disney

i took the kids and met jen, ray, bodhi and kira at disneyland today. it was kira's first trip to disney. our passes are going to be blocked for the summer so it was one of the last times we could go. it was pretty crowded but we had a great time. mason was very excited to have ray come with us. he got to go on the pirates ride. we don't usually go on that ride because the little kids are afraid of it.

kira seemed to have fun. she was pretty good. it is hard to manage an infant at disney. we didn't stay late. mason was sad to go home. he wanted to go on the nemo ride (i did too). however, it is a school night so i was responsible took us home early. boo.

ice cream

open house

mason had his open house at his school today. we all went together after miles got home from work. it was so cute. i loved seeing his work and talking with his teacher. mason was so proud to show off his classroom to his family. i love that he is now a little boy. his friend andrew showed up and it was sweet to see them laugh together. i can't believe this school year is ending. it sure did go by fast.

ummm. what happened here?

me - "of course you guys can paint outside. just keep your paper on the cardboard and don't make a mess."

them - "ok mommy."

thank goodness it was washable paint.

school carnival time

we went to zena's school carnival today. i can't believe it has been a year since the last one. wow. the kids had tons of fun on the blow up obstacle course and playing games. of course there was lots of cotton candy to eat. jen and bodhi came this year so that made it more fun.

we didn't really stay for very long. connor was bored and getting cranky. we walked over to the playground instead and they seemed to have just as much fun there. maybe even more! we all went to christina's house afterward to eat dinner.

baby kira

dahlia is so in love with her cousin kira. she couldn't wait to hold her today. awww. makes me want to have another one....almost.

card for mommy

i was so happy to get a homemade card from mason this year. this is the first mothers day that he was able to write me a note just from him. so precious. i love it. thank you mason for being such a thoughtful and sweet boy. i love you.
